Abstract: 

Among the features of the new era, which is called the era of information and communication Technology, is the introduction of new technologies such as information and communication, the results of which are an increase in the volume and variety of information, a change in the use of information, a change in communication channels, and an increase in access to knowledge. Therefore, Getting to know information and communication technologies and their use, called "information literacy", is beyond "traditional literacy" and should be considered by all people with the emergence of new technologies. chemistry is one of the subjects whose concepts are difficult to understand from the point of view of teachers and students, and usually, there is no positive attitude toward it. Due to its laboratory and functional characteristics, the chemistry lesson has a high ability to present concepts, simulations, and computer animation. The purpose of this research is to use information and communication Technology in chemistry education.

Abstract: 

Green chemistry education aims at educating responsible learners, environmentally conscious citizens, nurturing creativity, encouraging and motivating them to study and research the environment and ways to protect it, as one of the most important factors considered in achieving development. The statistical population of this study was Yazd Farhangian University students who were analyzed using descriptive statistics, frequency and percentage (and inferential test) Pearson correlation, Excel software and SPSS software. Results showed that it is best to provide a suitable context for students at Farhangian University to enhance the link between green chemistry education and general education, given the important role that green chemistry plays in human life through appropriate and strategic planning to manage green chemistry at schools and to better quality teaching and learning. This article aims to provide new attitudes, skills and knowledge in universities and schools. The use of green chemistry in education will increase the quality of life and the environment for a healthier and safer environment.

Abstract: 

With the outbreak of the Covid-19 disease and the consequent widespread closure of schools and universities all around the world, education methods have undergone many changes. These changes have happened very quickly in all parts of the world as in our country. Virtual education was widely used in many educational centers. This sudden transition from traditional to virtual education has had consequences. Students and teachers entered a new era of education that was mostly unknown. One of these changes is the much wider use of information and communication Technology (ICT) in sicence education. In this article, we have reviewed the literature and studied the capabilities of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, especially in chemistry teaching. The various aspects of information and communication Technology, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the more and more use of information and communication Technology (ICT) especially in science education, also the opportunities and challenges created in this regard for students, teachers and professors have been examined.

Abstract: 

In the present era, information and communication Technology (ICT) has affected various dimensions of human beings, as the effects of this science on basic science courses are also evident. chemistry is one of the subjects whose concepts are difficult to understand from the point of view of teachers and students. Due to the laboratory and non-practical nature of this course, it has a high ability to present concepts with computer simulation and animation. Many concepts such as: the movement of gas molecules, the molecular structure of compounds, etc. can be presented by computer simulation. In order to improve the teaching-learning process in any scientific field, the best methods should be used according to each subject, so that the profession of teaching and learning is always up-to-date, attractive and more efficient in parallel with the scientific development in each field. The purpose of using ICT in the curriculum planning process is to increase the quality of teaching and learning. This article tries to explain the role of information and communication Technology in the field of education, investigate the place and impact of this phenomenon on the curriculum and state its advantages and disadvantages, and by bringing examples of new technologies, their educational applications in education. Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to compare the curriculum of chemistry education with former chemistry education and undergraduate chemistry curriculums. The research is a comparative survey based on the Brady pattern. According to this model, the information required for the three disciplines was first collected, interpreted, categorized, and then the similarities and differences were analyzed. The results revealed that the goals and contents of the chemistry education curriculum have similarities and differences with the other two programs mentioned above. Innovative aspects of the chemistry education curriculum include the addition of Pedagogical-Content Knowledge courses (PCKs) and an increase in the internship units, which are highly effective in shaping student teachers' professional identity and enhancing their teaching skills. On the other hand, the reduction of specialized chemistry units, the reduction of laboratory units, and the increase in the number of public units can be among the challenges of the curriculum of chemistry education which can be effective in reducing the scientific level of future chemistry teachers.

Abstract: 

Experimentation is one of the ways to learn the basics and general results of science that compel students to think and ultimately learn optimally. Experiment-based education is a robust method for maintaining the visual process of teaching and principles for furthering educational objectives in chemistry. The laboratory is the complementary sector and the focus of empirical science education, which provides students with participation in science-related activities and learning the scientific method. Since most of the findings of empirical sciences are obtained through observation and implementation of experiments, therefore, the best way to effectively learn empirical sciences is to conduct experiments and live observation of scientific evidences. In the present research, at first, the role of the laboratory in the teaching of experimental sciences, including chemistry, will be discussed, the goals and approach to implementing this method will be addressed, and the views of several experts regarding the importance of laboratory teaching, the stages of the laboratory teaching method, and also separately, the ways of presenting laboratory activities, merits and limitations of this method are examined, suggestions for using this method as much as possible in schools in order to improve chemistry education are presented. In the end, the process of making colored crystals by first-secondary students is described.

Abstract: 

Learning and teaching chemistry is often considered difficult due to its complex, intangible and abstract concepts. One of the ways to facilitate this is the use of educational technologies in teaching chemistry. Augmented reality Technology is an interactive experience of a real environment that allows for increased understanding of complex concepts at most educational levels. Despite the many researches conducted inside the country on the application of augmented reality in education, no systematic study was found that focuses on the application of this Technology in chemistry education. The current research is a systematic literature review in order to investigate widely used devices, advantages and challenges of using augmented reality in chemistry education. Among the results, the concepts related to molecular structures were among the subjects in which augmented reality was used the most in teaching and learning, and the benefits of using this Technology are concentrated in the field of emotional learning. Smartphones and tablets were the dominant devices in the use of this Technology in classrooms. Also, according to the results of the studied research, suggestions were made to support the active use of this Technology in chemistry education.

Introduction: From a long time ago, benefiting from Technology has been an inevitable thing for human interests, which is born and based on science. It can be claimed that there is harmony between ethics, science and Technology, which promote each other. In this article, the researcher discusses this harmony and compatibility. Material and Methods: The current review study was descriptive and using the study of sources and research keywords among the books and articles published in the databases of Thomson Information Institute, Science Direct and Pub Med. Conclusion: As science and Technology continue to advance and become more integrated into our daily lives, ethical considerations become increasingly important. For example, the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has raised questions about the potential implications of creating machines that can make autonomous decisions and take actions. If science and Technology were considered as a tool, it should have been able to subjugate humans and influence all aspects of behavior and values. While it has become a problem that eventually becomes aligned with morality by applying reason, and people now seek help from it as a tool.

Abstract: 

The field of chemistry education is one of the multidisciplinary trends that are defined in order to train a chemistry teacher for the second round of high school, which aims to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies required for student-teachers. Teachers are the most important factor in preparing students in any education system, so teacher education reform is one of the necessities to improve the quality of the education system, including these reforms, revision of the education curriculum so that the teachers can acquire the necessary competence to teach. This article examines the topics discussed in the high school chemistry textbooks in the second round with approved topics in the field of chemistry education and its research method is descriptive-comparative in which it first examines specialized courses in the field of chemistry education. Then, the mentioned topics are compared with the topics mentioned in the textbooks of the second high school chemistry, and based on this comparison, the important topics in the chemistry education courses are identified.
